In 1974 people were either watching Sassafras on the Whistle Test (they're all crawling out the woodwork now) or like me you were into this. I still think it's bloody marvellous.
1974 right in the middle of (for me) what was the best era for totp's Don't think I even tuned it to the whistle test until I noticed The Talking Heads were on one night.
Right on the button for me. 1973 to 1975 my best years. Am watching 35 year old re-runs currently showing on BBC 4. Not very good but still throw up the odd gem and I am interested to see how punk is covered. Will have more to say in blog.
